This is the only thing you have

Speaker 1:

Good morning everybody. Tuesday week four. Hopefully, you had a good Monday and you kick start some momentum, but some of you are still still feeling behind or still sulking that you haven't started. We need to let go of this stuff now. It's time to let go.

Speaker 1:

We can't always be and it's like I said yesterday, a quote from my book about being victims. How many hours have we wasted? How many days of our lives have we wasted by sulking, by being victims? Oh, I haven't started yet. Feel so bad.

Speaker 1:

Someone else is doing more than me. You know, we get these in waves. I had so many waves yesterday about feeling like, oh I'm behind, I've so much to do, I've got to solve this problem, I've all this stuff to get done, and it is a lot of load. I'm not running away from that fact. I'm like, what is that serving me doing now?

Speaker 1:

And it comes in waves and they go, right, what's my next step? I feel better instantly, then I'll have another wave. I'm like, if I just do nothing, what's the point, leave it there, deal it with it tomorrow, you know, if I'm gonna push it off, push it off, does nothing for me, makes everything worse. So you have to really look at how many hours a day you're wasting on just sulking about yourself and the actions you haven't done. And is it weird, we're sad about results but when we haven't done the work, it's a bit strange for us to have this mindset.

Speaker 1:

So we need to get out of this mindset ASAP and start taking actions today. It's the only way. Today, present moment's the only thing that exists like, that's it. Nothing else exists apart from right now. So it depends what you wanna do with it.

Speaker 1:

You wanna waste time thinking about the past, being a victim, waste time about the future, of having anxiety, but stuff is probably never gonna happen because 90% of the stuff we worry about in the future doesn't even happen. So you worry and then you it doesn't happen. But even if you did worry now and then something did happen, you worry now and you worry when it happens. You're double worrying. Let's just worry even for a moment when things do happen and let's just rock with stuff.

Speaker 1:

I believe, right, we've all got energy inside us. When people say I don't have energy, I don't think that this is true because if we think about this type of scenario, you wake up and you feel really low and you feel you hate things, you just sulk and being, oh, I hate life, all this stuff. And then you have a phone call from me and I tell you the best news ever. So maybe it's like, you need to pay off something that's £5,000. Okay?

Speaker 1:

This is on your back when you wake up. I hate to go pay yourself $5. I'm got it. And I wake up, I phone you, listen, I've just bank transferred you $7. Enjoy your day.

Speaker 1:

All of a sudden, you are now ecstatic. You are full of energy. Now where did that energy come from? Did it come from anywhere or was it always been there? And I honestly believe it's always there, but we've got blocks.

Speaker 1:

We block this energy flow in. So we need to start thinking of what's gonna get our energy flowing every day. Right? So I can switch your energy. I can unblock and get that energy going by giving you a piece of good news you really wanna hear.

Speaker 1:

Right? That's that's one way we can we know it because we've all had that happen to us. We're feeling bad and some good news and we're all of a sudden feeling top of the world. Remember school, tired all day, oh I hate school. Soon as school bell goes, I'm running to the bus.

Speaker 1:

Where's this come from? I'm tired because I'm making myself tired because I don't wanna be where I wanna be. So I'm forced, I'm literally making things worse. I'm like, oh I wanna be in this position so I'm tired. I'm telling myself I'm tired.

Speaker 1:

I'm telling myself I'm sad. I'm making myself sad with low energy. The energy's there trying to come out but I'm like no hate that. And then you just keep playing it down and down. You literally tell yourself this and you you you you've got this heavy load on you, but it doesn't have to be that way.

Speaker 1:

It really doesn't have to be that way. I believe you need to unblock it. And we unblock it by looking at things as a perspective unblocks it sometimes. And the perspective of you can do something today versus you don't have to do this challenge. Oh, you can quit right now if you want but you can do it, you can work on yourself.

Speaker 1:

This is fantastic news. You can do, you can track your macros, get strong, you can talk to other people online that are on the same path as you. A lot of so many good stuff from a joint shuttle radio chat, so many good stuff. Oh yeah, you can quit if you want. You'll quit.

Speaker 1:

Like if some of you are still done and dump some of stuff like, oh, my results aren't coming and everything's a chore and everything's a struggle and then you quit, where do you think that's gonna take you? Like you're just gonna you're just gonna reset again and start start another plan. It's the same thing happening over and over. Isn't it time that we start thinking of a lifestyle change? Isn't it time we start looking at tiny habits and building them into a routine?

Speaker 1:

Isn't it time that we become a healthy person defined as that like I wanna be someone who is going to steps in for health, is cooking nutritious to me, not just for me but as a good example for my family, kids, wherever. Isn't the time I'm to be this person? Like how long are you going to wait to demand this from yourself? That really is the question and every day you're wasting your time not doing anything. We've got, know, like twenty four hours a day.

Speaker 1:

If you think about the waking hours, sixteen hours a day. Right? Every human being on the planet will have sixteen hours a day, some people have less time of course, there's a must saying every sixteen hours is the same and it's pointless thinking well someone's got an easy job, so more time isn't easier. Stop comparing. Where can you find the time in your days where you should be looking at and where can you fit there in?

Speaker 1:

So a lot of people have woken up early and it's changed their routine forever. Like you think about it, you wake up in the morning, do a workout and it sets you up for the day, you've done a good thing, you've tracked your macros, it changes the trajectory of your entire day by waking up that thirty, forty five minutes earlier. Maybe that's all you need to do. Some of you all need to do is get off your phones in the night and have a good night's sleep. That leads to good sleep wake you up early you get on with the day.

Speaker 1:

Some of you just need to unlock your phone in the morning. Some of you need to stop spending time in bed scrolling and then be hating the day and going, oh, can't be bothered to start with the day and you scroll with twenty five minutes gone, you hate yourself even more and you go, oh my god, waste twenty five minutes and it's forty minutes and you it's a loop from hell basically. Right? Where can you get the twenty four hour where can you get more hours from the twenty four hours? Does that make sense?

Speaker 1:

Where can you get the time? That's up to you to find this as I can't tell you. I don't know your days. I'm not gonna be following all of you around every morning, all days with a notebook going on. You're say three minutes there, two minutes there.

Speaker 1:

You know you can get more time out of your day because if you look at your screen time, that'll tell you everything you need to know. And as Perlego, Lucy, one of the members here on Turtle, Octagon Challenge got three kids and Fitz of him, superhuman. I mean, that just shows it's possible. It's possible to do these things. It just is a matter of really looking at your own self in your own days.

Speaker 1:

And every day you get a chance to go again. That's the beauty of these. I I just love that. Every day you wake up and you go, I can start again today. I can start.

Speaker 1:

I can try it today. I can do my best today. That's all we can ask for. And that's all we ever have is the today. Mister Tom Oro, laughing at you.

Speaker 1:

He wants you to come and speak to him because he's like, yeah, waste time thinking about me, but I'm not gonna get you anywhere. Gonna keep thinking about me, me, me, me, me, it's gonna make you sad and he's gonna laugh. Mr. Y Day back there, the old man, Mr. Y Day or the old woman.

Speaker 1:

I want you to start thinking well you know you've always been like this so you'll always gonna be like that in the future and that's not true. Like Jim Rohn says, you're not a tree you can change, you're a human being. We have, as far as we are aware, the only animal on this planet that has the ability to say yes and no to a word impression so we can say, right, so I've thought that but maybe that's not right or I feel this but I don't feel like it's right, I feel like it's a false impression. We're really the only animal in the world as we know that can do this. I can check things out and decide what to go with and what we think is right and what we think is wrong.

Speaker 1:

And that's an ability if we don't use Stoics will say if you don't use that ability you're basically acting like an animal, a wild animal. So you know, do not like a wild animal or not? So that's the happy days above that. Now that you know the thing with time is like, why is this ten weeks lifetime? If you do it for one day you can do it for two days but it doesn't matter if so if you wake you don't have to have variety in everything every day like some week I would go I'm writing the same thing in the daily diary every day.

Speaker 1:

So what? That's that's the point to ground yourself in what you're saying every single day. Alright, that's you can't waste, you can't like you don't wanna waste, you can't pull from time in the future. You can't have time debt. You can only spend what's like you're going from now.

Speaker 1:

There's an analogy I saw, some guy say it was quite good. It's like we don't travel through time, time travels through us and we're deciding on the direction and then we go then it's coming through us that way. I That's quite a good way to look at it like we are we're not going through time. Time is coming through us. We're always in the present moment.

Speaker 1:

We're not going from past to future, we are just now. And what we do now is who we are, what we do. Do you think you can change right now? I think you can change right now. I think you can do anything you want right now.

Speaker 1:

It's possible. And that's what I want you all to think and take from this voice note today. You're not gonna get more time in a day. You're not gonna get more hours in a day in in terms of actual hours, but you can find that. You can, like, be more effective with your time.

Speaker 1:

That's what it's all about. Being more effective all time, fitting in health because thirty minutes of health a day is such a big win, thirty minutes extra on email is gonna do nothing for you, thirty minutes extra on social media is gonna do nothing for you, thirty minutes waking up later if you have a good night's sleep is just a waste of time. You Thirty minutes doing nothing is what what are we doing? You need to think about it. And I want you to start thinking about that today.

Speaker 1:

There is only the now. What are you waiting for? That is all I have to say today. Get on with it. Get on with your day.

Speaker 1:

Do things today that you want the person you want to be would would do today and nothing is nothing is overwhelming if we look at it in a day by day compartments and just look at what you have to do today to be the person you want to be and do it. Okay? Don't second guess yourself, just do it and you'll see it's possible and you have to take that mindset in every single day, one day at a time.
